FOUNDATION BASE: Collage created from photo and other materials, photograhped and then printed on hand stretched Italian high quality canvas. Painted with acrylic colours & ornamented with glitter.
OTHER LAYERS: Creating a 3D effect, there are imitated stone pieces representing the Buddhist caves, surrounding the middle area of the painting. They are sculptured from modeling ceramic clay embedded with many small crystals inside. Upon them are resting 42 gilded Buddhas in lotus position and dragon protectors. Creating this mountain cave pieces, deep inside of the clay are concealed some of the little scrolls with sacred Buddhist mantras and texts. They serve to bless and consecrate the artwork as well as energetically program the small crystals within the clay. The tiny crystals work in harmony with sacred mantras radiating strong vibration. So the painting carries very high frequency similar to a large crystal. The very ancient symbol in the middle of the painting, of the two tetrahedrons united - creating a star, is called Merkaba which in the ancient Egypt was referred to a rotating light that would take the spirit and the body from one world into another.
FINISHING LAYER : All painting is covered with crystal resin which serves not only as a beautiful effect but it preserves this sacred artwork for the future generations.
